Location Fofak Harbor borders the north coast of Waigeo Island in the Raja Ampat Islands. Also known as Offak Harbor. In Indonesian, known as Teluk Fofak (Fofak Bay). Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in the Raja Ampat Regency in West Papua Province in Indonesia. Wartime History In the middle of August 1917, German Raider SMS Wolf (Wolf IV) and captured vessel SS Matunga arrived at Offak Bay (Fofak Bay) where the vessel was stripped and cargo removed before it was scuttled a few miles out to sea on August 26, 1917.
