Unknown c1990
Rota Island is located the southernmost island in the Southern Islands Municipality in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) in the United States of America (USA). Also known as Luta in Chamorro.

Relatively undeveloped and offers a chance to experience the natural beauty of the Marianas. The dense jungle, prolific wildlife and solitary stretches of white sand beaches remain largely undisturbed. Lush, living reefs with hundreds of species of tropical fish, coral, sponges and crustaceans can be seen in crystal clear waters.
