Lat 14° 40' 34N Long 120° 32' 10E  Balanga is located at an elevation of 82' / 24m above sea level inland from the eastern coast of the Bataan Peninsula in Bataan Province on Luzon in the Philippines. Located on the coastal north-south road. To the east is Pilar.

Balanga Elementary School
Located at Basa Street, Talisay in Balanga City. This school was used as Japanese Army General Masaharu Homma as a command post at the conclusion of the Battle of Bataan. When U. S. Army Major General Edward King surrendered at Limay no photographs or cine footage was recorded. Afterwards, he was brought to this location to document the surrender for propaganda value. Today, a memorial marker and paintings are located at the school.

St. Joseph's Church
Used by Japanese artillery during the bombardment of Mt. Samat in April 1942.

Fall of Bataan Marker
Located in the Capital Compound of Balanga city. This marker was dedicated on April 9, 1952.
