    Buri Leyte Province Philippines
Lat 11° 1' 12N Long 124° 54' 0E  Buri is located at an elevation of 95' / 28m inland from the eastern coast of Leyte in Leyte Province in the Eastern Visayas (Region VIII) of the Philippines. To the south is Buri Airfield and beyond Burauen (Burauen) and Bayug Airfield further to the southeast is San Pablo and San Pablo Airfield.

Wartime History
During October 1944, Buri was defended by Japanese Army soldiers from the 16th Division under the command of General Shiro Makino.
