Location
Lat 15° 58' 0N Long 120° 58' 0E Digdig is located in Nueva Ecija Province on Luzon in the Philippines. Connected to the south by Highway 5 south to San Jose towards the Caraballo Mountains and Balete
Pass. Also known as "Joson".
Wartime History
During December 1941, occupied by the Japanese Army.
On March 2, 1945 the US Army 25th Division advanced to Digdig,
and liberating the town the next day after a brief battle. By March 5, 1945 the roadway between San Jose and
Digdig was reopend for traffic.
