Mount Mariveles is part of the Cogon Tarak Ridge on the southern Bataan Peninsula in Bataan Province on Luzon in the Philippines. Also known as Mt. Mariveles or Mariveles Mountain. To the south is Mariveles, to the east is Limay and to the northwest is Bagac.

Wartime History
On February 9, 1942 on the ground at Mariveles, an eye witness reported a Japanese fighter chasing a P-40 overhead and gaining on it. The two went in and out of clouds around Mount Mariveles, then an explosion was heard. Afterwards, neither aircraft returned.
