    Puerto Princesa Palawan Province Philippines

Lat 9° 44' 21N Long 118° 44' 7E  Puerto Princesa is located roughly in the center of the east coast of Palawan Island in Palawan Province in the Philippines. Borders Puerto Princesa Bay.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese. During late 1944 bombed by American aircraft. On February 28, 1945 a U. S. Army 41st Division Regimental Comat Team (RCT) made an amphibious landing at Puerto Princesa and met no opposition at the beach and occupied the area.
