Burns Philip Building
Located in Port Moresby, across the
street from the Papuan Hotel and overlooking the wharf area at Fairfax Harbor. Built prewar and owned by Burns Philp Company (Burns, Philp & Co, Limited) as their headquarters. This building survived the Pacific War and Japanese air raids without sustaining damage. It remains in use and is one of the town's remaining historic buildings, until it burned down in late 2005. Afterwards, rebuilt with the original facade.
