Lat 4° 4' 0S Long 144° 4' 0E  Angoram is located on the north coast of the Sepik River inland from the north coast of New Guinea. Angoram is southwest of Murik Lakes, and southeast of Wewak. Also spelled "Angorum".

Angoram mission was established at this location.

Wartime History
During December 1942 occupied by the Japanese Army. On August 17, 1943 B-24D "Twin Nifty's" 42-40348 exploded and crashed nearby and afterwards villagers retrieved and buried three bodies near Angoram mission. On December 1, 1943 B-24D "Ten Knights in a Bar Room" 42-72806 crashed near the village.
