Lat 5° 16' 60S Long 150° 1' 60E ¬†Hoskins is located on the north coast of New Britain near Kimbe.

Wartime History
During 1942, occupied by the Japanese. During the war, the Japanese built an airfield on Cape Hoskins. After the United States Marine Corps (USMC) landing at Cape Gloucester, Japanese forces retreated through this area making their way eastward towards Rabaul.
