Mount Lawes is a feature located to the north of Port Moresby. Also known as "Mt. Lawes". In the local language known as "Bisogo". The highest point of the mountain is 445 meters in elevation. To the northwest is Little Mount Lawes. During the Pacific War, incorrectly named "Mount Schwimmer" by Allied personnel stationed at nearby Schwimmer Drome (14 Mile Drome, Laloki).
