Location
Lat 6° 45' 48S Long 156° 26' 47E  Nokiki (Nukiki) is located at an elevation of 91' / 27m above sea level on the southern coast of northwest Choiseul Island (Lauru) in Choiseul Province in the Solomon Islands. To the west is the mouth of the Warrior River and beyond to northwest is Choiseul Bay.

Wartime History
After the October 28, 1943 U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) landing at Voza, Major Warner T. Bigger, battalion executive officer launched an operation to the northeast towards Nokiki and the Warrior River with the goal of destroying Japanese barges operating from Choiseul Bay.
