Location
Lat 7° 12' 0N Long 100° 35' 60E  Singora is located in Songkhla Province in southern Thailand (Saim). Borders the Gulf of Thailand to the east. Also spelled "Songkhla".

Japanese Landing
On December 7, 1941 just before midnight, Japanese warships and transports of the "Singora Invasion Unit" arrived offshore. On December 8, 1941 the Japanese forces landed at Singora and Patani.
