Sinking History
On February 16, 1944 while in Truk Lagoon damaged by U. S. Navy (USN) carrier aircraft. On February 17, 1944 during the morning sunk.

The bow breaks the surface and the shipwreck has little marine growth. The interconnecting No.1 and 2 holds have a variety of aircraft and truck parts. Also Navy artillery shells. Some of this equipment has spilled out onto the sea floor. Also, some of the aircraft parts are likely for L2D Tabby transport aircraft. At the stern is a crude artillery piece mounted on a swivel at the stern, and another mount which has no gun.
