Grave of Robert A. Wilson at Beverly National Cemetery at plot F grave 1734
FC1c Robert Archibald Wilson was a crew member aboard USS Perch SS-176 scuttled March 3, 1942 and that same day was captured by the Japanese and became a Prisoner Of War (POW). On June 15, 1945 FC1c Robert Archibald Wilson died as a Prisoner Of War (POW) detained at Java POW Camps D.X.Y. at Batavia on Java.
The grave reads:
"Robert A. Wilson
New Jersey
FC1c US Navy
World War II October 26, 1917
June 15 1945"
