Anti-Aircraft Defenses
This twin barreled 127mm Semi-Automatic Anti-Aircraft Gun is located at the harbor side of the strip. It is on a swivel mount and had a view over the harbor area. The gun was built into a concrete revetment, with compartments for stores or air raid shelters for the crew.

Seaplane Base
The shoreline was a seaplane base and repair area during the Japanese occupation.

Crater & Hot Springs
The crater of the old volcano is visible below. This area has hot springs and were used by the Japanese as baths. They constructed ceramic tubs and fixtures still present to this day. The town is in the distance, and the edge of the harbor.
