    Narakapor Airfield Morobe Province Papua New Guinea (PNG)

Location
Narakapor Airfield was located on Narakapor Plantation to the southeast of Nadzab in the Markham Valley in New Guinea. To the south was the Markham River. Also known as "Narakapor Field" or "Narakapor Drome". Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Morobe Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Construction
Built prewar by Joe Lorraine, who cleared a small landing ground near Narakapor Plantation for use by Junkers W34s to transport betel nut and other produce to Wau Airfield and Lae Airfield.

On August 26, 1939 Junker F.13 VH-UKW crashed at Narakapor due to an engine failure.

Today
Disused since the war.
