Lat 23° 7' 0N Long 113° 15' 0E  Canton is located on the southeast coast of Guangdong Province in China. Today, provincial capital of Guangdong Province. During World War II, known to the Allies as "Canton" or "Canton City". Also spelled "Kwangchow" or "Kwang Chow". Today known as Guangzhou.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese for the duration of the Pacific War. Starting in early June 1942 attacked by the 10th Air Force until the end of the Pacific War.
