Group burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at section C-7 sites 8640, 8641 and 8642
The inscription on the group burial marker reads:
"Frank M. Higgins Corporal
Robert M. Showalter Flight Officer
Unknown November 8, 1944"
This grave spans three plots 8640, 8641 and 8642 with remains recovered from A-20G Havoc 43-21638 crashed November 8, 1944 with three crew members Missing In Action (MIA) / Killed In Action (KIA).
