Wartime History
Assigned to an unknown Kōkūtai (Air Group). This Rufe crashed at Rekata Bay. Possibly, abandoned while operating from Rekata Bay Seaplane Base.

Wreckage
Sometime between September 1943–November 1943 a team of Americans from Technical Air Intelligence Unit (TAIU) visited Rekata Bay to study the abandoned Japanese airplane and seaplane wreckage in the area. This Rufe was investigated and the manufacture number noted. No tail code or markings were noted. The team estimated the Rufe crashed August 12, 1943. Possibly, this Rufe was removed for further study. Ultimate fate unknown.
