A6M3 Zero 3028 left wingtip damage abandoned at Buna Airfield
The left wingtip is was bent upward, possibly damage caused while taxiing or due to a ground loop. The pitot tube is broken with the front half hanging forward. On the lower side of the wing is the Hinomaru. Behind is the rear fuselage with part of the Houkoku Gou 870 (Patriotic Presentation Number 870) in black partially overgrown by kunai grass.
