A6M3 Zero 3032 abandoned at Buna Airfield rear fuselage view of Houkoku Gou 874 and the serial stencil
The rear fuselage has the Hinomaru (Rising sun), Houkoku Gou 874 (Patriotic Presentation Number 874) donated by Sadahei and the rectangular serial stencil with manufacture number 3032 and construction date of 2-7-3 [July 3, 1942]. Several bullet holes or shrapnel holes are vislbe on the fusealge surface. Vegitation atop and below the aircraft.
