Surrendered A6M3 Zero 3844 parked at Piva Yoke Airfield
This Zero is painted in surrender markings overall white with a black upper engine cowling and nose to the forward canopy. Over the Hinomaru insignia was painted a green cross atop the fuselage and wings. At left is a tow bar made from a tree branch with two Allied personnel standing nearby with a jeep.
