B-17E "Tokyo Taxi" 41-9153 nickname on the left side of the nose
Visible on the left side of the nose is the nickname "Tokyo Taxi" below are two Japanese rising sun flags indicating aerial victory claims by gunners. and the center window has a socket for a .30 caliber machine gun and below the right window is the U.S. Army serial stencil. Below at center is the pitot tube. Visible in the perspex nose is a machine gun with a belt of ammunition.
