Aircraft History Built by Douglas. Constructors Number unknown (four digits). Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC) as B-18 Bolo serial number unknown. Assigned to the 5th Bombardment Group (5th BG). Tail code "BE 32" for Bomber, E for the 5th Bombardment Group (5th letter of the alphabet) and as the 32nd aircraft in the unit and was the radio call sign. On June 20, 1941 became part of the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF). Mission History During 1941, while landing at Kaneohe Field, this bomber overshot the runway and came to rest near the beach.
