Aircraft History Built by Consolidated in San Diego. Constructors Number 634. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-24D-7-CO Liberator serial number 41-23839. Ferried overseas via Hickam Field then across the Pacific to Australia. Wartime History Assigned to the 5th Air Force (5th AF), 90th Bombardment Group (90th BG) "Jolly Rogers", 321st Bombardment Squadron (321st BS). Nicknamed "Cookie" in double quotation marks on each side of the nose with the nose art of a nude woman wearing a chef hat and white high heels holding a rolling pin. Below the pilot's window on the left side of the nose was a scoreboard with 18 bombing missions flown and at least one silhouette of an enemy aircraft claimed. During June 1945, scrapped.
