B-24D "Miss Deed"41-24070 nickname and nose art on the left side of the nose
Nicknamed "Miss Deed" in a cursive style with quotation marks around the name on both sides of the nose with the nose art of a nude woman on her back with one hand behind her head and the other arm downward. At the center right is stenciled "Fire Extinguisher" on the access hatch. At the upper center is the U. S. Army Air Force (USAAF) serial number stencil that reads:
"U. S. ARMY B24-D
AIR CORPS SERIAL NUMBER 1-24070
CREW WEIGHT 1200 LBS
SERVICE THIS AIRPLANE WITH
100 OCTANE FUEL ONLY
BLOCK NO. 15"
