On November 6, 1943 this crew aboard B-24D Liberator 42-72814 went Missing In Action (MIA) on a weather reconnaissance mission over Rabaul.
In the background is B-24D "Miss Deed" 41-24070 nicknamed "Miss Deed" in a cursive style with quotation marks around the name on both sides of the nose with the nose art of a nude woman on her back with one hand behind her head and the other arm downward.
