Nicknamed "The Champ" in reference to the Hollywood movie The Champ (1931) with the nose art of a brown boxing glove outlined in yellow with lighting bolts to the front. At the left is the edge of the nose bird cage with a socket with machine gun. At the upper right is the U.S. Army Air Force serial number stencil with 42-40060.
