This photograph was taken sometime prior to October 12, 1943. Everyone pictured with the exception of unknown and "Toughy" the dog went Missing In Action (MIA) aboard B-24D Liberator 42-72789 on October 12, 1943 returning from a bombing mission against Rabaul.
