B-24D-1 "Ben Buzzard" 42-40670 left side of the nose
Nicknamed "Ben Buzzard" inside double quotation marks in dark capital letters with a white outline. Between the two words was the nose art of a buzzard bird wearing a top hat. At the upper right are four "cat's whiskers" antennas for the sea-search radar.
