B-24D "Career Girl" 42-41234 right side of the fuselage after the left landing gear collapsed at Horanda 4Y near Dobodura
The U.S. star and bar insignia is visible on the left wing and fuselage. The bomb bay doors are open and the right waist window is open. At the upper center is the lower edge of the right tail. The photo caption has the date "(12-13-43)". It is unclear if this is an error or because the date was written in GMT time versus local time. Also, the photo caption lists the serial number as "B-24D-1-42-1234" [sic B-24D 42-41234].
