Vincent J. Netherwood of Kingston, NY in uniform
On August 31, 1944 gunner B-24J Liberator 44-40831 on a bombing mission against Japanese ships in Takao Harbor off Formosa (Taiwan) and went Missing In Action (MIA). On October 2, 1996 the crash site was discovered on Mount Maoer in Guangxi Province in southern China.
