B-24M "Out of the Night II" 44-41809 parked at Clark Field
Nicknamed "Out of the Night II" in quotes in a cursive font on the side of the nose after the previous bomber B-24J "Out of the Night" 44-40901. This aircraft was painted overall black and equipped with radar for night and radar search missions. The nose is partially covered by a canvas cover atop the nose gun turret. On the tail below the serial number abbreviation "441809" was a white triangle with the tip pointed downward inside was the artwork of the head of an eagle.
