On September 28, 1944 delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-24 Liberator serial number 44-49422. Project Number 96718-R. On October 2, 1944 flown to Madison. On September 20, 1944 flown to St. Paul. On October 30, 1944 flown to Hamilton Field. On November 4, 1944 flown to Fairfield Airfield. On November 16, 1944 departs Fairfield Airfield on a ferry flight via Hickam Field then across the Pacific to the South West Pacific Area (SWPA). On November 17, 1944 assigned to the 5th Air Force (5th AF). Fate On December 5, 1944 written off as condemned salvage. Ultimate fate unknown likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
