Aircraft History Built by Consolidated at San Diego. Constructors Number 5920. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-24M-10-CO Liberator serial number 44-41984. Ferried overseas via Hickam Field then across the Pacific to Australia. Wartime History Assigned to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Liberator A72-191. Assigned to No. 200 Flight for special duties to support the Allied Intelligence Bureau (AIB). Mission History On March 27, 1945 took off on a mission bound for Borneo.
