Mission History
This B-24 was lost on a mission over Ambon Island.
Bruce Fenstermaker adds:
"Lost on mission over Ambon. Japanese buried crew remains a week later, most
of wreck was scrapped, turret, etc remained. Flew for
about 60 miles, went in [at location] Welalautai."
