Joseph F. Masterson Catholic Central High School (CCHS) class of 1941
During World War II, enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as a B-25 crew member. On August 10, 1945 navigator aboard B-25J Mitchell 44-30993 ditched into the Sea of Japan and was rescued the next day by USS Plaice (SS-390). Credit: Catholicon Yearbook page 71 Date: 1941
