Lee Brown adds:
"I am not sure that we flew in this airplane but chances are good that we did; probably on a training flight to Wewak. The attached photo was taken in mid 1944 and the crew members shown are:
(L to R) W. B. Brown (engineer), L. M. Brown (radio), Cook (navigator), G. Schmidt (pilot), J. Fitton (co-pilot - kneeling)
Shortly after this photo was taken, our crew was transported to Biak where we joined the 500th Bomb Squadron, 345th Bomb Group."
