Built by Martin in Baltimore, Maryland. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as B-26 Marauder serial number 40-1558.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 11th Air Force in Alaska, likely to either the 73rd Bombardment Squadron or 77th Bombardment Squadron. This bomber was modifeid with additional nose armament including a 20mm cannon and two .50 caliber machine guns.

Later, assigned to the 355th Bombardment Group, 350th Bombardment Squadron based at Barksdale Field, LA.

Mission History
On February 14, 1943 took off piloted by Robert W. Blair then crashed near Bellingham Airport in Washington State.
