Technical Information

Background
Built by Nakajima the B6N Tenzan meaning heavenly mountain was a torpedo bomber for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN). Allied code name "Jill". This torpedo bomber was to replace the Nakajima Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber Kanko / B5N (Kate). The B6N first entered combat after the Battle of the Philippine Sea (Great Marianas Turkey Shoot) and was used until the end of the Pacific War.
