Aircraft History Built by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) with Constructor's Number 947. Wartime History In September 1943 delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Boomerang serial number A46-124. Assigned to No. 85 Squadron. No known nickname or nose art. Postwar During May 1946, authorized for write off in May 1946 and struck off charge in November 1948. Wreckage During the 1980s, the remains of the fuselage were located on a property near Dalby, Queensland and recovered. Display The fuselage on display at the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre is based around the remains of this aircraft.
