Aircraft History Built by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). Constructors Number 1031. Completed by June 14, 1944. Delivered to the RAAF (RAAF) as CAC-19 Boomerang serial number A46-208. Assigned to 1 Air Depot (1 AD). Wartime History On July 27, 1944, assigned to No. 83 Squadron coded MH-Z. Nicknamed "Milingimbi Ghost". On March 27, 1945 placed into storage by 6 Air Depot (6 AD). Postwar On May 13, 1946 it was written off. On November 15, 1948 removed from the RAAF. Display This Boomerang was acquired by Zuccoli's Classic Aircraft / Aerotech. In May 2007, donated to the Museum of Australian Army Flying. In August 2018 moved to RAAF Amberley Heritage Centre.
