Aircraft History
Built by Curtiss-Wright. Constructor Number 30501. Assigned to the 2nd Combat Cargo Group, 7th Combat Cargo Squadron. When lost, engines: R-2800-51.

Mission History
Took off from Biak Island on a flight to Finschafen Airfield. Last seen over Hollandia at 0900. Last heard from via radio from Hollandia, when it was advised to land due to poor weather. The pilot replied all was clear and that he would proceed, no other contact was established afterwards.

Officially declared dead the day of the mission. The entire crew is memorialized on the tablets of the missing at Manila American Cemetery.
