Subject: Discovery of World War II wrecked aircraft [C-47B Dakota 43-16261]
"On 7 July, AIRA [Air Attaché] was notified by Malaysian Ministry of Defense Joint Operations Center (relaying a Kuala Kangsar Police Report) that a wrecked US Army aircraft had been discovered the previous day by a native can cutting in the jungle at approximately 04-35N/1000-50E.
