Ferried overseas via Hamilton Field then across the Pacific to Australia. Wartime History Assigned to the 5th Air Force (5th AF), 374th Troop Carrier Group (374th TCG), 6th Troop Carrier Squadron (6th TCS). No known nickname or nose art. Mission History On March 8, 1943 while attempting to land at Bulolo Airfield, overshot the runway due to pilot error and was damaged. Afterwards, written off and salvaged.
