Aircraft History Built by Douglas Aircraft Company. Constructors Number unknown. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as C-47 Skytrain serial number unknown. Postwar, sold or donated to the Indonesain Air Force / Akngkatan Udara Republik Indonesia (AURI) as C-47 Dakota. Display Since the early 1990s, this C-47 is displayed at Museum Dirgantara Mandala Yogyakarta Indonesia (Indonesian Air Force Museum). Painted with tan and green upper surfaces with fuselage code RI-001 (a fake identity). On the nose is "AURI" in black and a squadron logo in the shape of shield with "2".
