Aircraft History Built by Douglas Aircraft Company. Constructors Number 3073. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as C-54 Skymaster serial number 41-37283. This aircraft operated in the South West Pacific Area (SWPA). Postwar This aircraft was sold to American Airlines (AA) and registered in the United States as N90408. Next, to Air France and registered as F-BELH. Afterwards, to Tunis Air registered as TS-BLH. Then to Air Fret, F-OCNU. During July 1969, while participated in the "Biafran Airlift" during the Nigerian Civil War and was destroyed while parked at Uli Airfield (Airstrip Annabelle), Biafra in Africa.
