D3A1 Val 3470 captured at Munda Airfield
The Val has access panels removed and evidence of damage including shrapnel damage and the rear fuselage has stress rippling from nearby explosion from a bomb blasts. Tail code T3-261 in white with a red horizontal stripe across the tail and vertical stripe on the rear fuselage. In the foreground is the canopy and fuselage of A6M Zero.
