DH.50J "Hippomenes" VH-ULG parked outside a Qantas hanger in Australia
On the left side of the fuselage was the nickname "'Hippomenes" painted in black behind the engine with "Qantas Ltd" and "Royal Air Mail" and a crown logo forward of the cockpit. The rear fuselage had VH-ULG in large black block letters and "Qantas Ltd" with the upper portion of the tail painted black. The tail had "Qantas Ltd. No. 27 VH".
